Magnificent Distance, 5×5: March 20-April 27, 2012
Isabella has been selected as part of the “Magnificent Distance” section of 5×5 for the Washington DC Cherry Blossom Festival Centennial. She will be premiering Hawk and Dove.
Grants for The Arts, 2011
Isabella has been awarded £5000 by Arts Council England to develop her film Hawk and Dove.
Open Studio, Giverny: July 21st, 2011
The Terra Foundation Summer Fellows will be hosting an Open Studio exhibition at 82 rue Claude Monet, Giverny, France on Sunday, 31st July 2011. All are welcome from 2pm. You will be able to have a sneak preview of Isabella’s forthcoming film ‘The Old Razzle Dazzle’, and also see the work of Anna Plesset, David Prince and Anne-Lise Seusse.
How Do We Look?, MOCA, Los Angeles: March 16th, 2011
Isabella will be speaking as part of How Do We Look? a symposium on artists and their viewing positions at MOCA, Los Angeles on April 9th. Her paper will be titled “The Proposition”, and will focus on the proposal as a site for art. Please see the website at http://howdowelook.wordpress.com

The Library of Congress, John W. Kluge Center: June 8th, 2010
Isabella will be an Arts and Humanities research Council Fellow at the Library of Congress from October 2010 until April 2011, where I will be researching ‘The Vision of Star Wars: tracing the military imagination through space’.

Lead artist for Hadrian’s Wall, UNESCO World Heritage Site: October 23rd, 2009
Isabella has been selected as Lead Artist for the Hadrian’s Wall project, a new partnership between Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Ltd. and Inspire Northumberland.
